A BIT ABOUT ME:
Wife/Yoga Instructor/Chef/Athlete
/Adventurer/Registered Dietician
Raised by a family of foodies, and encouraged to explore and create on my own, my passion for real, good food began at a young age. I can still remember standing tip-toed on a stool as a six year old "helping" my mom cook dinner, the taste of an orange I picked as a teenager straight from a grove in Brazil, and the unmistakable smell of pud thai on the stove as I walked in from track practice.
Food wasn't just fuel for me, it was a passion, a work of art, a language of love, a new adventure.
I have always felt that healthy eating is a treasure I owe my body. I have always been active, competing in sports, climbing mountains, and nourishing my body through movement. I have taught yoga for over three years and have found that a body that is adequately fed (and I mean really fed with whole, natural foods) can do amazing things.
I love hiking to waterfalls, doing yoga on paddleboards, picking Montana huckleberries, early morning crossfit WODs, steel-cut oats, flannel shirts, and watching Survivor with the hubby.
